Refund Policy – Roxanne Harry Holistic Therapist

1. Purpose of this Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for services provided by Roxanne Harry Holistic Therapist (“I”, “me”, “my”) to clients (“you”).
By booking or paying for a session, you agree to the terms below.

 

2. General Policy

Holistic therapy services are provided on a pre-booked appointment basis.
Refunds are handled fairly and in accordance with UK consumer protection laws.

Because treatments are personalised services delivered at a specific time and date, you are not automatically entitled to a refund once the session has been completed — except where the service was not provided with reasonable care and skill.

 

3. Cancellations and Refunds (Client-Initiated)

a. Standard Appointments

  • 24 hours’ notice:
    Cancellations or reschedules made more than 24 hours before your appointment are eligible for a full refund or transfer to a future session.

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice:
    Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged 50% of the session fee.

  • No-shows / missed appointments:
    No refund will be issued for missed appointments without notice.

b. Prepaid Sessions or Packages

  • Unused sessions in a prepaid block or package are refundable within 14 days of purchase, provided no sessions have been used.

  • After the first session has taken place, refunds will be calculated pro-rata for unused sessions, minus an administration fee of £5.

  • Packages expire 6 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable after that period.

c. Online or Distance Bookings

If you book and pay online, by phone, or by email, UK law provides a 14-day “cooling-off period” under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless:

  • The service has already been provided in full within that time, and

  • You gave consent for the session to go ahead before the cooling-off period ended.

In such cases, you will not be entitled to a refund after the service has been delivered.

 

4. Cancellations by the Therapist

If I need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason (e.g., illness, emergency, or unavoidable circumstances):

  • You will be offered the choice of rebooking at a convenient time, or

  • Receiving a full refund for the session if you prefer not to reschedule.

No additional compensation is provided beyond the refund of the session fee.

 

5. Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • They may, however, be transferred to another person with the voucher holder’s permission.

  • Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

 

6. Refund Process

Approved refunds will be issued:

  • By the original payment method, and

  • Within 5–10 business days of approval.

Please allow time for your bank or payment provider to process the transaction.

 

7. Exceptions

Refunds will not be provided if:

  • You are dissatisfied with the outcome of a treatment where the service was delivered as described and with reasonable care and skill.

  • You fail to disclose relevant health information that affects the suitability of treatment.

  • You are late to your appointment, resulting in a shortened session.

9. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
